in front of 和in the front of 都可以译”在……前面”。in front of 指在某物外部的前面，而in the front of 指某物内部的前面。
eg:There is a big tree in front of my classroom.
在教室门前有一棵大树。
I sit in the front of the classroom.
我坐在教室的前面。
